So yesterday the New South Wales Coroner, Magistrate Michael Barnes, delivered his findings from his inquest into the deaths arising from the Lindt Café Siege. It’s also played down as the ‘Sydney Siege’ and on leftist Wikipedia as ‘The 2014 Sydney Hostage Crisis’.
Let’s just call it for what it was – ‘The Sydney Islamic Terror Attack on Christmas 2014’.
Magistrate Barnes has told Sydneysiders what they already knew and suspected. That it has taken 17 months is just further judicio-political incompetence. Barnsey also has let off his fellow magistrates scott-free. The coronial inquest has been a joint government-judicial coverup, drawn out in problem avoidance minutiae in the hope Sydneysiders will just forget and move on.
NSW Liberal Greg Smith’s Weak Bail Laws killed Tori Johnson and Katrina Dawson
- Mass immigration of muslims let into Australia and encouraged to practice Islam by multicultural Canberran ideology (Lib/Labor/Greens) has made Australia a vulnerable target for Islamic terror attacks. It was on the cards.
- The Iranian Islamic terrorist, Man Haron Monis, was let into Australia by Canberra’s Immigration without proper background checks
- Australian intelligence and Federal Police knew of Monis’ criminal record and of Iranian authorities extradition request to hear a case of fraud and about his years of erratic and offensive conduct, yet dismissed him as a harmless nutter.
- The terror attack was wholly avoidable, save NSW Attorney General Greg Smith’s crim-friendly bail laws. To prevent prison overcrowding Smithy applied the leftist Law Reform Commission’s looney ‘get-out-of-jail-free’ idea to abolish an accused’s presumption against bail in favour of release “unless they are a risk of absconding, reoffending or harming someone.” Read our article of Jun 2015.
- Misguided bail magistrates Joan Baptie, Dorelle Pinch and William Pearce are culpable. They each gave Monis bail despite police charges pending for three sexual assault charges against a woman, a further 40 sexual assault charges against six women, including 22 counts of aggravated sexual assault, 14 counts of aggravated indecent assault, one count of aggravated act of indecency, one count of sexual assault and two counts of assault with act of indecency, murdering his ex-wife, conviction for penning the poisonous letters to the families of dead Australian soldiers, and insurance fraud. The three magistrates betrayed one of their own in Katrina Dawson.
- Islamic terror victims Tori Johnson and Katrina Dawson would still be alive if the anti-terrorist competent SAS had shot Monis with their UK standard issue SR98 sniper rifle with its heavy glass piercing 7.62×51mm NATO round. (Retails for $3000 from Accuracy International in the UK). But NSW Police State Protection Group’s sniper rifle was an old lower velocity M4 plastic carbine with just a 5.56×45mm soft-point round that tends to fragment on impact. (Retails for just $1000).
- The NSW Police sniper positioned directly opposite the Lindt Cafe in the Westpac Bank at 7.35pm reported having a clear head shot of Monis wearing a white bandana with Arabic writing sitting down in front of a window. Bang! But NSW Police Commissioner Andrew Scipione had told him he could be up for murder if he shot Monis – so WTF? Then he played politics outside his brief. Wasn’t the belated lead storm riskier?
- Police psychologist said wait until Monis shoots a hostage first.
- What compensation? Mike Baird says a brass plaque inside the Lindt Cafe should do, and clean up them flowers.
Not surprisingly three players have resigned before the coroner’s findings yesterday. Greg Smith, then Mike Baird, then Andrew Scipioni. Cowards.
So what has been the point of all them SAS Black Hawks practising around Sydney Harbour since the 2000 Olympics?
