Turncoat Turnbull a Great Pretender – no ideas except pleasing, spending, taxing and stalling

Turnbull Bull failedAfter 6 months of disruptive nothing, time’s up you Ruddster fakester!

Stop navel-gazing new taxes. Live within your means. Pay down Labor’s debt rather than extending Labor’s debt.

After nearly half a year of directionless indecision, sack yourself for Stopped the Boats Morrison.  Call in a Double Dissolution which timid Abbott ought to have done immediately in response to Labor’s flat rejection of Treasurer Joe Hockey’s first repair budget in May 2014.

Recall Turncoat Turnbull’s prepared blood speech following the night of the Liberal Factional Hatchets Sept. 15, 2015:

“I will lead a thoroughly liberal (progressive) government.”

“We need to have in this country, and we will have now, an economic vision, a leadership that explains the great challenges and opportunities that we face, that describes the way in which we can handle those challenges, seize those opportunities, and does so in a manner that the Australian people understand so that we are seeking to persuade rather than seeking to lecture.”

He added: “The Australia of the future has to be a nation that is agile, that is innovative, that is creative. We can’t be defensive, we can’t futureproof ourselves.

“We have to recognise that the disruption that we see driven by technology, the volatility in change is our friend if we are agile and smart enough to take advantage of it.”

Crap!  You Great Pretender!  Smiles, charm, con, fake poll threat.  Rewarding your inner circle for narcissistic gain just like Rudd, while banishing Cabinet talent like digging a moat for personal power insecurity.  It is all there for the political historians and once you are history, others will leak just as you have leaked.

You were always an untrustworthy Bill Clinton without the charisma.  And like Gillard, the Australian people never voted for you.

“The Great Pretender” (1955)

(with apologies to Buck Ram and Tony Williams of The Platters)

Oh-oh, yes I'm the great pretender
 Pretending that I'm doing well
My need is such I pretend too much
I'm lonely but no one can tell

Oh-oh, yes I'm the great pretender
Adrift in a world of my own
I've played the game but to my real shame
You've left me to grieve all alone

Too real is this feeling of make-believe
Too real when I feel what my heart can't conceal

 Yes, I'm the great pretender
Just laughin' and gay like a clown
I seem to be what I'm not, you see
I'm wearing my heart like a crown
 Pretending that you're still around

Too real is this feeling of make-believe
Too real when I feel what my heart can't conceal

 Yes, I'm the great pretender
Just laughin' and gay like a clown
I seem to be what I'm not, you see
I'm wearing my heart like a crown
 Pretending that you're still around.
