When it comes to the reported crime in Arab saturated Western Sydney, the above heading is the all too common phrase told by victims of Arab crime, that makes Sydney Police just roll their eyes.
It says everything. The phrase “Described as Middle Eastern in Appearance” has over the past six years been repeatedly heard on radio and TV.
Western Sydney is under siege from Arab Crime gangs. Nightly drive-by-shootings, gun running, narcotics, roaming gangs, bikie gangs, extortion, vice, bashings, rape, armed robbery, terrorism, whatever – the perpetrators unfailingly are “Described as Middle Eastern in Appearance.”
Yet it only applies to the young Arab males by the way. Their Middle Eastern women seem to cause few public issues (for fear of domestic violence), and so their women folk must be embarrassed by the immature arrogance and criminal gang behaviour of their hero men folk.
So how did it sadly get this way in Sydney, Australia?

Former Sydney Police detective Tim Priest has declared:
“I believe that the rise of Middle Eastern organised crime in Sydney will have an impact on society unlike anything we have ever seen.
When the Middle Eastern crime groups emerged in the mid to late 1990s no alarms were set off. The Crime Intelligence unit was asleep. I know personally that operational police in south west Sydney compiled enormous amounts of good intelligence on the formation of Lebanese groups such as the Telopea Street Boys and others in the Campsie, Lakemba, Fairfield and Punchbowl areas.
The inactivity could not have been because the intelligence reports weren’t interesting, because I have read many of them and from a policing perspective they were damning. Many of the offenders that you now see in major criminal trials or serving lengthy sentences in prison were identified back then.
The Middle Eastern crime groups and their associates number in the thousands, not the hundreds as the government and senior police would have you believe. It is the biggest crime problem we have ever faced, and it is growing.
Hardly a day goes past without some violent crime involving a “male of Middle Eastern appearance”, though I see lately that description is watered down now to include “and/or Mediterranean appearance”. To an operational policeman, there is a noticeable difference between an Italian and a Lebanese male”.

‘Information sought to identify men impersonating police – Sydney’s West’
“Police are investigating two incidents of men impersonating police in Sydney’s west late last week.
About 2.40am on Thursday 16 October 2014, a 19-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man were sitting in a Hyundai Elantra in the carpark of Manse Reserve on the corner of Mt Druitt Road and The Avenue, Mount Druitt, when they were approached by two men.
The men identified themselves as police before smashing a window of the car with a baton and demanding money. The two men stole money and other property before entering a car described as a light-coloured Holden Commodore, and driving away.
The men were described to police as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, 23-30 years old with a lean build.
In another incident, about 7.20pm on Saturday 18 October 2014, a 13-year-old girl was walking with her grandmother and step brother on Station Street St Marys when she was approached by three men in a white coloured Holden Commodore.
The front passenger of the Commodore called out to the girl and asked her to approach the vehicle.
The girl’s grandmother became suspicious of the men and questioned them. The passenger claimed to be a police officer, however, could not produce identification when questioned further.
The men drove away and activated a siren from the car which sounded similar to a police siren. They were last seen driving east on Phillip Street, St Marys (Western Sydney).
Police are investigating both incidents and are urging anyone with information about the incidents to contact Crime Stoppers immediately.”
