As President of the Australian Long Distance Owners’ And Drivers’ Association, I am pleased to endorse for the election on September 8th the candidature of Gloria Watling for North Ward in Wollondilly Shire
I have known Gloria and her husband Spencer for forty years. We have all been involved in the transport industry as ‘owner-drivers’ throughout this time and as activists working to secure better conditions and industrial fairness.
It is clear to me from my experience, that Gloria Watling is precisely the sort of representative on Council who the many owner-drivers in the Shire need, but more than that – who every small business operator, worker and ordinary Australian person deserves.
I look forward to the common sense of all – putting Gloria into Wollondilly Shire Council.
