So that’s what twenty-one polly divorces? Clearly Hanson’s serial cloning thing ain’t a goer.
One Pauline’s dumped candidate Dane Sorensen in the WA election in 2017 publicly described Senator Hanson as a “delusional leader” and of trying to secure an state upper house seat through “duplicity and underhandedness”. He called Senator Hanson “the red horror”. “What I would like to see us all take away from this is the utter conviction that we were absolutely duped and used.”
In 2December 2016, resigning One Pauline senator Rod Culleton said of Hanson:
“Policy decisions have been run in morning media, with no consultation, discussion or agreement from the party room and personal attacks and undermining, un-Australian behaviour towards myself and my team, has been ongoing and terms dictated to the team.”
Culleton accused Hanson of “diluting her pre-election promises” in relation to a banking inquiry. He said:
“The PHON leader’s public rants against me have also been accompanied by demands for my resignation and control over diaries, office management and staffing by Senator Hanson and her Chief of Staff, James Ashby.”

ONE NATION SPLIT – IT’S REALLY ABOUT ‘LIBERAL’ OWNERSHIP OF THE BRAND TIME

The fall of Brian Burston inside One Nation hardly causes many members of Australia First Party who were once loyal to One Nation, much pain. Burston always was a mainstreamer and a civic patriot. His career in that party left a trail of wreckage. He will not be One Nation’s Senate candidate in 2019.
So, who will?
As supporters of our party are well aware, I was looking forward to contesting ‘Lindsay’ in 2019 against Marcus Cornish, One Nation’s new rising star. Marcus is also a fulsome civic patriot and he played the pivotal role in sinking the people’s anti Mosque struggles of 2014 – 2016. This movement was a meat grinder for all sorts of patriots (sic) and Marcus, from the ‘hard right’ (sic) of the Liberal Party, played them all – except Australia First.
So, when Marcus went over to One Nation in late 2017, Australia First recognised a welter of political opportunities.
I had hoped to highlight the blurring lines between the new One Nation and the Liberal Party, the essential convergence of ideology and politics.
I hoped to establish in practise our thesis that One Nation is a satellite of the Liberal Party.
Of course, there are signs of that everywhere in One Nation, but I also wanted another example, one that linked the argument to the Liberal Party’s dirty-tricks apparatus. It is a matter of record that the ‘rise’ of Marcus was also linked to the activities of the Liberal operator, Howard Crawford in Western Sydney, a gent who visited his wrath upon Australia First in various ways in the years 2011 – 2015.
Now, information reaching us from various sources, suggests that Marcus Cornish, a councillor on Penrith City Council, will be One Nation’s lead Senate candidate in 2019.
If this turns out to be right, yet another symbolic moment would be before us. The matter of the transition of One Nation from offering voters and activists any sort of structure for challenge to establishment politics to a pure safety valve – has to become a mass question.
Australia First Party will demonstrate that on the ground henceforward, because our party wants a slice of the One Nation vote and we want a layer of decent One Nation folk to make their way into Australian Nationalism.
